I am a trained and qualified Environmental Management Specialist with over 9 years progressive working experience. I hold Bachelor of Science in Environmental (Studies) Science from University of Eldoret and a registered Lead Expert by National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) a Government Agency mandated in coordination of matters environment. and Associate Member of the Environment Institute of Kenya (EIK). My wide experience in the field is derived from extensive training and professional involvement as Environmental Safeguards Specialist for various road construction projects in Sub-Saharan Africa. Most of these projects are funded by World Bank/IMF and African Development Bank (AfDB) in collaboration with the Government of Kenya through the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA). I have extensive experience in carrying out Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, Risk Assessment, risk remediation and Audit studies and Environmental & Social impacts Monitoring for various projects and I am still actively involved in environmental management and governance as well as Environmental & Social Impact Management of projects. I usually use my computer skills and experience in coming up with environmental solutions towards achieving the project objectives and goals in environmental management.
